Thunderbolts Trailer Review | Marvel’s Superman

Jack Schreier’s directed movie Thunderbolts will be released in May 2025. Its Trailer was leaked a few days ago. Recently, Marvel Studios released its first official trailer. In this trailer, we will get to see the Easter egg of Marvel’s Superman. We will also learn about the existence of the Avengers Tower. So, let’s see what makes this trailer so special.

Thunderbolts: In The Trailer

Here we first see Yelena who has gone to Red Guardian. Both of them were seen together earlier in Black Widow. Here we get to see the condition of Red Guardian and how he is living, Depressed and lonely. Here we see Yelena going on illegal missions in illegal work to overcome her depression. Then we are shown Bucky whose journey in the MCU is going to be very painful.

After this, we are shown John Walker who is with his child. He is reading an article about himself about how he had a downfall and how he disrespected Captain America. After this, we see Yelena in action, and all these things must have been done by Valentina. Here we see a flying building that Yelena is flying. This is the HSBC building in Kuala Lumpur, so from here, we come to know that the Thunderbolts’ fight is going to be international.

Then we see Yelena going to a vault where John Walker has also come and he has also got a new shield. This shield is exactly like the one shown in the comics. Here we also see Task Master who we saw in the Black Widow movie. Task Master has got a new look here and similarly, Ghost who we saw in Ant-Man and Wasp has also got a new look.

Marvel’s Superman in Thunderbolts

But the most important character is Bob, and he is a different story altogether. Bob’s full name is Robert Bob Runnels and he is none other than Marvel’s Superman, Sentry. The movie is going to be around him. He was also given the super soldier serum which was 100 times more powerful.

If we pay attention to the trailer, we get to know that Valentina has hired everyone separately and sent them on the same mission. If I think about it, Valentina has experimented on Sentry and now Valentina is sending everyone separately. Either everyone should kill Sentry or Sentry should kill everyone.

After this, we are shown a shot where a party function is taking place. Here you will see a poster on which there is a Battle Mansion of New York which was in the first Avengers movie. Here we see Loki’s scepter on display. In the Avengers movie, Loki used this scepter to use the Mind Stone. Here we also see Bellantina. After this, we see many action scenes and finally, we see Bucky with his vibranium arm.

 Further, we see Bucky in many more action sequences, especially the entire action sequence of Bucky shown here is exactly similar to his Captain America Winter Soldier scene, even the weapon that Bucky is using here is also the same weapon with which he destroyed the car in Winter Soldier. It was very interesting to see this callback and the expectation becomes clear from here that we are going to get the same Winter Soldier vibe from Bucky.

Avengers’ Tower

In The End, we are shown all the members of the Thunderbolts together. And they are all shown to us in Avengers Tower. This leads us to the conclusion that Avengers Tower was bought by Valentina and this is where she is experimenting on Sentry.
